I am thrilled to introduce Tiziana, a wonderful makeup artist and an integral part of the GLAMSQUAD at Motherly Portraits. Antonio: What inspired you to pursue a career in makeup artistry?
Tiziana: I’ve always been into art. I come from a generation where they’d say “they’re no money in art.” Well, being a makeup artist, enabled me to do both.
Antonio: You’ve probably seen a lot of different styles and looks in cosmetics, what is your favorite makeup look to create and why?
Tiziana: I don’t have a favorite makeup look. However, I love when customers bring creative challenging looks such as, colorful cut-creases, etc.
Antonio: And with all the different techniques and products in cosmetics industry, how do you stay current with the latest makeup trends and techniques?
Tiziana: I stay current by always practicing and searching for new looks.
Antonio: Can you share a time when you faced a challenging makeup situation, and how did you overcome it?
Tiziana: I’d say the most challenging part of my job are customers who aren’t used to wearing makeup. In which case, I have to make them feel comfortable and also give them time to adjust to their new beautiful look.
Antonio: What do you like most about doing makeup for maternity and motherhood photoshoots?
Tiziana: I like that I can make a pregnant woman who’s going through so many body changes feel beautiful, feminine and sexy.
